Dear Sadharmik brothers and sisters,
Jai Jinendra!
We cordially invite Jain Center Presidents, JAINA BOD members, and the Center members to a virtual Town Hall Meeting from West Region on Saturday, April 10th, 2021 at 11 AM PST. During this brief 30-minute presentation, the JAINA Convention team will provide an overview of the activities planned and will walk you through the virtual event platform of this unique convention. Please do not miss this opportunity to see the activities we have planned and how our virtual events will work.
Please help us reach the Vaiyavach Committee’s extended goal of $1.5 million for 2021. The fundraising is still ongoing for all the projects related to the “Vaiyavach” of Sadhus & Sadhvi Bhagwants of all the sects. Since our Sadhus/Sadhvis don’t travel to America, we never get any opportunity to serve them. They bring us the words and the wisdom of our Tirthankars but what can we give to them in return? Contributing to the Vaiyavach fund is a unique opportunity created by JAINA to fulfill our noble duty to care and provide comfort for our Sadhu Sadhvis. Please come forward and donate a tiny share to this noble cause.
Under the initiative ‘Know your JAINA’, the Jivdaya Committee will hold a townhall type community meeting on Saturday, April 17th at 10:00 am PST | 12:00 pm CST | 1:00 pm EST. Gurudevshri Rakeshbhai explains when our existence becomes full of love, there comes immense contentment and sensitivity. Wherever we see someone, we should not become a cause for his sorrow and become a cause for his joy. With a little increase in sensitivity, we will focus on the needs of others over our own.
Let’s learn about Jain Tattvas and the Philosophy of Karma by Pravin K. Shah. It is said that without the proper knowledge of this subject, a person cannot progress spiritually. The proper understanding of this brings about the right faith (samyak-darshana), right knowledge (samyak-jnana), and right conduct to an individual.
